A very special Doria XXL ball light from 1973. The light is marked with the Doria label (see photo). One of the most impressive designs by "Doria Leuchten" (Furth, Ger) in the 60s and 70s when space travel was in the picture and many designers were inspired to space age designs. The hand-blown glass sphere has a diameter of no less than 40 cm. The inclusions and veils in the glass create a unique, unevenly spread light which reminds us of a full moon in a cloudy sky. The materials used are very good quality. The fact that the large glass sphere is hand-blown makes every version of this light unique. The glass holder, shade and spheres in the light are chromed and give the light a splendid appearance. In the sphere itself there are 4 light points and 5 chromed spheres which remind us of the planets. This light matches any interior and draws attention thanks to the surprising shape and the splendid light it emits. It is at its best with mirror bulbs (not included). The condition of the light is excellent.
