An old and used ship's horn used on a Dutch barge. Was until recently still used. Have not tried it myself however. It is a very large size air horn (68 cm). The horn has some damage to the nozzle (see photos). From the French town of Conflans Ste. Honorine. There are still a number of letters on the air horn but I do not know what they mean: GRE VET nr 1099574 (see photo) You still see areas painted red. The story behind this is that in WW2 copper was needed for making ammunition. By painting the copper the horn wasn’t seized. See photos that are part of the description.
