This concerns a rare collector's item, specially design for the World EXPO 58 in Brussels. This is a coffee table with a design by Lucien De Roeck, specifically the floor plan that is depicted on the table for Bois Manu Belgium. The tabletop and legs are made of wood, with a graphic print of the floor plan of EXPO 5 on it, and a depiction of the Atomium in the middle.
The legs can be detached and slid under the table. This souvenir could be used as a picnic table during the tour at the time.
Marked at the bottom with Souvenir EXPO 58, created by Bois Manu. Made in Belgium with the accompanying symbols for the EXPO (the star and the globe).
The table has minor signs of wear, but considering its age it is in very beautiful condition. (see photos).
