This early MG B Roadster ''pull-handle“ model is in a flawless mint condition..
The MGB that we have is the world's 5th oldest MG B that still exists, number 649, built in August 1962. In the recent past, the MG has had a complete high-quality restoration and overhaul, carried out with the explicit instruction to keep it original in every detail, in accordance with how the car came from the production line in 1962.
The bodywork was stripped down to the bare metal before it was repainted in the original Tartan red paint. Matching numbers. The engine, gearbox, clutch, radiator and brake calipers are all overhauled. The restoration process is photographed. All chrome parts are chrome-plated again and like new! So no imitation but original. Even the original keys and brochure are present. The body is straight with perfectly fitting body panels and extremely high quality paintwork. The bottom plate is as good as new with absolutely no rust. Characteristic to this first model are the "pull door handles" (spoon doors) as well as the colour coded (not black) radiator frame and the corners of the bumpers at the rear (later, corner pieces were made of shiny aluminium), the absence of sun visors, a metal information plate instead of a plastic sticker on the casing of the heating, and the rounded corners of the oil cooler.
This is a truly unique MG B (“spoon door”) model that has been carefully renovated to the highest quality and originality, and is therefore an object with a rare beauty! You’ll hardly come across a model that is prettier and better.
The MG has recently also had a professional polishing glass coat treatment.
The car can be viewed and picked up in Heerde, the Netherlands.

perfect Citroen cost € 20.000 + or more
