A design by Lapponia designer Björn Weckström from 1978 (A8).
The model originates from the acrylic phase of the jewellery designer. This model is named "Kilimanjaro" and is exceptionally large.
The acrylic component is transparent with intense blue and green bubbles on the inside. Each of the inclusions in the acrylic are unique. All the necklaces are different.
This Lapponia necklace from 1978 is a designer work of art of historical and artistic value. Also limited of course.
The rod chain is also typical of Lapponia designs. It is fixed to the large pendant.
The necklace is approx. 73 cm long.
The pendant measures 65 mm wide, 68 mm long, 32.5 mm thick

Marked with "Sterling" and the Lapponia trident (Lapponia's maker's mark) on the clasp.
There are further marks directly on the pendant in the gap between the silver and acrylic: Lapponia - trident mark - heart mark of Helsinki - 925 - A8
