A thin elegantly shaped pipe of reddish bamboo with a nice piece of pale gray-green jade with green inclusions. The bowl is a molded hexagonal Yixing clay that has copper mounts. The bowl has had a clear glaze applied to it that give it shine. The bowl fits into a black lacquered wood mount with a brass band at the pipe end.
CONDITION
The black lacquer finish on the bowl mount s worn. The tape uses to keep the bowl tight in the mount is frayed and a small piece missing; it still keeps the bowl tight though. The bamboo and the jade mouthpiece have a nice soft feel. The pipe has the smell of tobacco residue
